Monday’s are for good coffee to kick start the week ā˜•ļø And for stomach crunching laughter when you ask for a cappuccino with art and end up receiving this in a cafe šŸ˜… - Copenhagen, Denmark
New blog post: on how I kickstarted my day with lots of Nutella and stayed fit. Enough said šŸ˜, rush to www.chameleonschronicles.com to read about Staying Fit During Travelling 🧳
Story time: I picked up Bratislava with no research at all and because I saw it’s close to Vienna and Vienna to Bratislava day trips are popular. So I booked a bus and took off to a city (a country, in fact!) I knew nothing about. Before visiting I was also confused if it’s the capital of Slovenia or Slovakia, and I wasn’t the only one to raise my hand to this when our walking tour guide asked us about this common misconception (or rather lack of awareness 😢). 2 hours into the walking tour and giving up because I wanted to explore on my own, I really wanted to visit this castle because wherever we’d walk we could just see this White Castle somewhere uphill. Funnily, I could see it from the plains but I didn’t know my way to it. A little piece of info, I avoid using my phone on the road for safety reasons so I didn’t quite want to map it. Standing down I just saw a huge huge White Castle and thought I’d just keep walking whichever path was inclined uphill. The castle was bigger than I imagined, and thankfully, the castle wasn’t extremely crowded which saved me the looks I get from using a tripod šŸ˜›āœØ It doesn’t matter where you are and what you know, just use your basic instincts and ideas and go on your own path. It can be scary and difficult but it’s worth it- always! ā˜ŗļø
